Kristin & Kevin’s wedding was held at the historic Alexandria Ballrooms in downtown Los Angeles. This venue was originally built in the early 20th century at the height of Hollywood as a luxury hotel. It held many celebrations and even the wedding of Charlie Chaplin.

The couple’s winter wedding was all indoors and mixed modern and clean lines with lush florals and historic and old-world architecture. Kristin’s dress was completely designed by herself and made by Altier by Dawn. It features an elaborate and dreamy feather-like train with clean and modern lines at the front. Bridesmaids wore a sparkly gold dress, to match with the all-gold interior of the King Edward Ballroom. The groom wore a timeless black tux but played it up a bit with red sushi socks!

A grand fireplace with overflowing greenery and florals and ceiling-high windows greeted guests. Kristin & Kevin said their I do’s and walked down the aisle of almost 400 guests cheering them on. Guests were then ushered to cocktail where a custom boba station by I Heart Boba LA and live art by Chasing Linen were waiting for them.

The reception had the same grand feel of the ceremony ballroom, but instead of gold, it was all white with the most stunning glass windows on the ceiling. Tables were adorned with black, white, and lush greenery and florals. Elegant chopsticks tied in a ribbon were the guests’ favorites. The couple wanted a low-key and relaxed reception; with no dance floor, there were only toasts, table greetings, and a slideshow. The night continued with the groom’s mom’s traditional Hula dance for the newlyweds. Everyone was seriously in tears and it was such a heart-warming moment!
